As American begins putting together plans for reopening during the coronavirus pandemic, people want to know what the smart thing to do is. Just because your favorite restaurant or retail store is back open, does that mean it’s safe to go back and use them? What do the medical professionals recommend? Are we just all jumping in too fast and it could be something that causes another spike in cases? Are we doing this out of frustration or because things are really, finally getting better? The fact is that it’s hard to say and unfortunately, some of these decisions are not based on fact, they are based on politics and the opinion of people who are no experts. So, what can you do to protect yourself and your family?
For starters, understand that the precautions put in place when the virus was in full swing need to continue. Many healthcare workers have been exposed to COVID-19 and are completely healthy. Why? Because they took proper precautions, continued to wear the right gear and made sure they cleaned themselves and did not bring clothes too every possible precaution. That means you can survive in a world with this virus if you are being careful. But again, you are probably wondering what that means, especially as you look for safety tips on what to do and what not to do.
You should always check sites that offer the true authority on what to do during this pandemic to keep you and your family safe. However, here are some tips we ourselves are following that may help you:
Masks 100% of the time: It doesn’t matter if it’s a run to the grocery store or you are going into work, you need to wear your mask all the time. As difficult as it is, try your best not to touch your face so make sure the mask is comfortable and well placed before you walk into anywhere.
Gloves and washing hands: Gloves are very smart, but people seem to love the idea of hand sanitizer. Keep in mind, hand sanitizer is only good if you are unable to wear gloves and wash your hands. Those two options are still far better.
Hydration and hot showers: Staying hydrated has been a bit of advice that’s been passed around a lot lately. The theory is that if the virus is in your mouth, it will be pushed down and get dissolved by your stomach acids. Whether or not that is true is yet to be known but combining that with hot showers as heat kills the virus, is always smart.
Clothes need to go into the wash asap: It may feel strange to shower the minute you get home, especially if it’s the morning and you just got back from the grocery store but you need to not only shower but throw your clothes into the wash immediately. Do not walk in and walk around the house, sit on the couch, talk to some friends on the phone and fix something to eat. Get in, get the clothes in the wash, take a shower and then have something to drink. That’s the best recommendation.
More information on how to combat this virus will be coming out in the coming weeks. For now, if you need to start going out more please remember to take these precautions and be safe. Remember, it’s not just for you, it’s for others as well and that’s the main motivation we should all have.
PMG is not a resale, transfer, or donation company. We are consumer advocates—we help to negotiate the release of your timeshare contract obligation. We do not buy, sell, or rent your timeshare. Simply put, we help you to get out of your timeshare contract forever.
Usually less than 12 months, but it all depends on your situation. If your timeshare is free and clear with no mortgage, then the process may only take 3-9 months.
Speak to your advisor about the time, and what delays the resorts have put into place to prevent timeshare owners from departing their ownership. If you have a mortgage or past due maintenance fee, the process takes more time.
This is probably going to hurt, but whether you paid $5,000 or $50,000 for your timeshare, the IRS values all timeshares as worthless investments. In addition, that timeshare would have negative value due to the annual maintenance fee bill which compounds year after year. That is until PMG helps you cancel your timeshare.
Yes. Whether you bought your timeshare 20 days ago or 20 years ago, PMG has a solution for you and is here to help.
Yes! Permanently! GUARANTEED!
While we are able to recover money in rare cases, beware of any timeshare cancellation company that entices you with the promise of fund recovery. The truth is, timeshares are loath to give back the money they’ve already taken.
Because most of our clients have had their trust betrayed by timeshare salespeople, we understand how some consumers can become a bit jaded. When you call us for a consultation, that’s exactly what you get, a consultation. At PMG, our job is not to sell you; our job is to help you get out of your timeshare. Which is why we have numerous 5-star reviews and an “A” (excellent) rating from the BCA.
We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best customer service in the industry. When you contact our company, you speak to a live person, not an automated system or voicemail. We go above and beyond for our customers by helping you to protect your credit and even repair your credit if needed. We offer a 100% money back guarantee, and we can provide documented proof of our success in helping customers just like you.
At PMG, we pride ourselves on our hands-on, boutique-style customer service, so every new client is assigned a case manager whose job is to keep you in the loop throughout the entire cancellation process. Your case manager is always just a phone call away.
Not all timeshare experiences are created equal. Some are more complicated than others, and every situation is different. That’s why our trained timeshare elimination consultants will ask you a series of questions designed to determine exactly what needs to be done to terminate your timeshare, how long it will take, and how they can best advocate for you. We will always seek the most cost-effective route for you.
Canceling a timeshare contract is not a cookie cutter process. With each situation being unique, once you complete the form below an experienced consumer advocate will call you today to discuss your options.
