How to get out of timeshare deals? That’s a popular question, obviously by those who are stuck in one and need help finding a way out. However, what about those who are interested in actually buying a timeshare? Is it a good idea? Can you find companies that are actually honest and offer fair deals? The answer is yes, even though we do not like to admit it, but there are reliable and fair resorts out there that offer a great property and service at fair prices. While we will not go down a list of which ones are good, we can tell you a few things you can look for to identify a good company so that you hopefully will not need to figure out how to get out of timeshare.
One of the first things you need to look for is the actual agreement and location of the property. Who owns this property? Not the company you are talking with, the company that is taking you out for a vacation, giving you free food and a lot of fun. You want the name of the company that oversees all of this, who is putting up the money to finance everything and who you will have to directly deal with once the agreement is in place. These are the people that we will have to combat with if you do need to get out of the agreement.
Once you find out the real company you are dealing with, the next step is to go onto Google and research their brand. What have people said about them and how they like or dislike their agreement. This will tell you a lot as you begin reading the contract and learning more about the offer. Another thing you can research is conditions and fees that are attached to the agreement. For example, what is this property going to cost you a month, not in the mortgage, but in maintenance fees. If you are sharing a property with multiple people, it doesn’t make sense that you should have to pay thousands of dollars a year just for the upkeep. Next, see what kind of promotions they offer as far as local attractions like theme parks and so forth.
If you are interested in buying a property in this area because of a theme park, you may want to go with a resort that offers free transportation, free parking, discounts on tickets or something like that. The more they can offer you as far as that goes, the better the deal is for you over the long-term. Remember, this is an agreement that is going to last for years so there needs to be additional benefits for you. Speaking of lasting for years, what happens to those maintenance fees two or three years down the road? Do they stay the same or do they go up? This information is designed to help you make the right decision when selecting a new timeshare. However, if at any time you are not happy with your deal, feel free to contact Primo Management Group to learn how to get out of timeshare. Our team knows what is needed, especially when it comes to battling these resorts to free you of your commitment. Whether you have a mortgage or not, we can help you identify a plan to not only get out of the deal, but how long it realistically will take, the costs involved and more. Don’t hesitate, if you are not happy with your current agreement then let’s schedule a free consultation to discuss your situation and options.
PMG is not a resale, transfer, or donation company. We are consumer advocates—we help to negotiate the release of your timeshare contract obligation. We do not buy, sell, or rent your timeshare. Simply put, we help you to get out of your timeshare contract forever.
Usually less than 12 months, but it all depends on your situation. If your timeshare is free and clear with no mortgage, then the process may only take 3-9 months.
Speak to your advisor about the time, and what delays the resorts have put into place to prevent timeshare owners from departing their ownership. If you have a mortgage or past due maintenance fee, the process takes more time.
This is probably going to hurt, but whether you paid $5,000 or $50,000 for your timeshare, the IRS values all timeshares as worthless investments. In addition, that timeshare would have negative value due to the annual maintenance fee bill which compounds year after year. That is until PMG helps you cancel your timeshare.
Yes. Whether you bought your timeshare 20 days ago or 20 years ago, PMG has a solution for you and is here to help.
Yes! Permanently! GUARANTEED!
While we are able to recover money in rare cases, beware of any timeshare cancellation company that entices you with the promise of fund recovery. The truth is, timeshares are loath to give back the money they’ve already taken.
