Timeshares can certainly make things difficult for their owners. You are convinced about the simplicity about the purchase, how it allows you to affordably own property in a different part of the country and enjoy it as often as you can and so forth. After a year or two you may be mostly happy with your decision, but you start to see a few little areas where the deal isn’t as glamorous as first thought. Next, you start to see more and more issues like what happens when you want to go somewhere else for vacation. Suddenly, that great property has to be rented out and you can’t find anyone to take your week or weekend, which you were told would be easy to do.
Next, you notice that your bills go up. Fees for maintaining the property, increases on taxes and so forth. You barely use the place and it’s costing you more and more each year. Now you finally find some renters who are willing to take the property off your hands for the week you have it and they cause some minor damages. Maybe the sink clogs or a cabinet door isn’t closing the right way. Nothing major, but they will make sure that you have to cover the costs to fix it and that’s even more of an expense on you for a property you are not even using.
That’s when you decide to get out of this timeshare deal. You are tired of it and the deal keeps getting less attractive by the day. You contact the company about your options and they barely give you the time of day. They don’t even handle those kinds of matters; it’s actually handled by the company that owns them and they must have an issue with returning calls because it’s been months and you haven’t heard back. Now you’re no longer annoyed, you are angry, and you are not sure what to do about it. That’s when you head to Google and research ways to get out of a timeshare. You find Primo Management Group and call for a free consultation but what you really want to know is if you can get out of your contract in less than a year?
The answer is probably. It’s honestly very difficult to say because it depends on a variety of things including if you have a mortgage on the property, if you owe fees, if there’s any damage to the property and especially which company owns it. These things have to be considered and will influence how quickly and if you can get out of your timeshare. That’s why that free consultation is so important to end speculation and get the facts.
